EF0 tornado in Saanich, B.C. today

May 21, 2020: A weak, short-lived EF0 tornado touched down in Saanich, B.C. today, the Environment Canada confirmed.

The rare tornado in Saanich only lasted a few seconds and there were no reported injuries.

According to  the Environment Canada, EF0 tornadoes have wind speeds of between 90 and 130 km/hr.
