April 2, 2020: At least 20 people have been killed due to the lightning strike in Kintele, a suburb of Brazzaville, the Republic of the Congo (Congo Republic).
The high voltage cables broke up over the lightning caused by rains leading to electrocution in the Brazzaville area.
Atleast dozen of people are still having treatment at the Talangai Reference Hospital.
Over the next 24 hours, heavy rain is forecast over central-south Republic of the Congo, including the Brazzaville area.
