NEPAL: Magnitude 4.2 earthquake recorded in Taplejung

October 20, 2019: Magnitude 4.2 light earthquake has been recorded in Taplejung at 07:24 pm Sunday, Nepal Seismological Center reported.

According to the Nepal Seismological Center, the earthquake epicenter was located at Kanchanjunga Conservation Area. The epicenter lies nearby the Nepal Tibet border.

Last felt earthquake in Nepal was of magnitude 4.4 in western part with epicenter in Rukum/Baglung border.

No preliminary damage or injuries have been reported.
