Heavy storms brought by cyclone Golia have claimed lives of atleast five people in Italian peninsular.
A 51-year-old farmer was found dead in Candinoni, Campania. Similarly, a 60-year-old jeweller and his wife were killed after their Volvo smashed while they were driving down near Caserta, also in Campania, The Local Italy reported.
The fourth people was drowned after slipping into the river Tione near Verona. The fifth fatality has been reported from Sant'Angelo in Pontano, Le Marche.
Italy's Civil Protection authority has issued further storm warnings across South Lombardy, Veneto, Friuli–Venezia Giulia, Emilia Romagna, Tuscany, Sardinia, Umbria, Lazio, Abruzzo and Molise.
