A
massive earthquake of magnitude 7.9 rattled Nepal on April 25, 2015.
The earthquake, which struck at 11:56 am on Saturday, has already
claimed lives of more than 8,000 people, injured thousands and made
millions homeless.

EMSC has upgraded the magnitude to 4.5 with epicenter located 40 km W of Kathmandu. However. it still keeps the epicenter in Nepal-India border region. EMSC should update the location as India is located south of Nepal (current epicenter is in northern portion).

Nepal Seismological Center has finally updated the magnitude and epicenter. It shows 4.5 magnitude aftershock at 10:13 pm with epicenter in Nuwakot near Tupche.
The epicenter locations shown by USGS, EMSC and NSC are different. EMSC and USGS show epicenter south of Kathmandu whereas NSC shows epicenter in the upper northern side of Nepal.

According to European Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC), magnitude 4.3 aftershock has been recorded in Dhading around 76 km SW of Kathmandu. Nepal Seismological Center website is still down.

Magnitude 4.0 aftershock has been recorded in Rasuwa/Nuwakot border region at 08:35 pm. The epicenter was located near Ghale Gaun. Weak shaking was even felt in capital Kathmandu.

Nepal Seismological Center has recorded another magnitude 4.0 aftershock in Kathmandu at 01:52 am local time.
The epicenter was located behind Nagarjuna Forest near Chhatre Deurali around 12 km NW of Kathmandu. It is in the border region of Dhading, Nuwakot and Kathmandu.
This is the second aftershock in last two days having Kathmandu as an epicenter. The tremor was well felt in Kathmandu valley.
Two days earlier, magnitude 4.0 aftershock was recorded in Kathmandu. The epicenter was located near Nakkhu river south east of Bhaisepati.
At least 290 aftershocks with magnitude four or greater have been recorded in Nepal. Yesterday, five aftershocks of magnitude greater than 4 rattled Nepal.
