    -An avalanche in British Columbia, Canada has claimed life of a person and left one other missing.

  • Tropical Cyclone Nathan
    -At 01:00 UTC, TC Nathan was located approximately 242 nm east-northeast of Darwin, Australia.
    -Emergency authorities are evacuating people from Warruwi Island.
    -More than 20 flights are expected to require to evacuate about 400 residents from Warrumi.
    -Flash flooding across coastal parts of northern Arnhem Land is forecast by the Bureau of Meteorology as written by ABC News.

  • M 4.0 light earthquake in Oklahoma (@ 2 km depth) with epicenter located 22km SSE of Medford. Light shaking of MMI II-III will have been felt by the people of Medford, Enid, Tonkawa, Blackwell, Caldwell, Ponca City, Wichita, Midwest City, Edmond, Stillwater and Oklahoma City.

  • M 2.9 weak earthquake in California (@ 6 km depth) with epicenter located 1 km N of Monte Sereno. It will have been well felt by the people of Saratoga, Los Gatos and Campbell. 16:27 UTC (local time: 09:27:39.9 2015-03-23 @ epicenter)
  • M 4.5 moderate earthquake in Japan (@ 53 km depth) with epicenter located 7 km E of Miyako. It will have been well felt by the people of Yamada, Otsuchi and Kamaishi.
    13:56 UTC (local time: 22:56; 2015-03-23 @ epicenter) 
  • M 3.5 light earthquake in California (@ with epicenter located 19 km NW of Tehachapi. Light to weak shaking will have been felt by the people of Bear Valley Springs, Tehachapi, Arvin and Lamont.
