Moderate earthquake today in Castaic, California

M 4.5 moderate earthquake shakes Castaic, California today, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake's epicenter was located 14km N of Castaic. It was 5.5 miles deep.

A 3.0-magnitude earthquake occurred about 10 minutes before the larger quake hit, the USGS said. No damage or injuries have been reported from Castaic earthquake today.
