Season's biggest storm has caused lightning, flooding and snow in Northern California, Los Angeles Times reported.
Several lightning strikes have been recorded off the Bay Area. According to the National Weather Service, more thunderstorm activities are expected along the coast Tuesday night and Wednesday morning.
Similarly, the strongest rainstorm this year hit the San Francisco Bay Area with 1.5 inches rainfall in Marin County and 1.2 inches in San Francisco.
It is believed to be the wettest storm since 2009 for the Bay Area.
The National Weather Service has also issued a flood advisory for the entire San Francisco Bay Area, stretching from Napa to Monterey counties. A winter storm warning is in effect in the Sierra Nevadas.
