Floods in Vietnam kill two children

Recent floods in Vietnam's central Thua Thien - Hue Province have claimed lives of at least two children, Vietnam News reported.

The two children were cycling to their school when they fell into the river and drowned.

Heavy rainfall and a huge volume of water released from the Huong Dien power plant reservoir caused flooding in many low-lying areas of Phong Dien, Quang Dien and Huong Tra.
