• Turrialba volcano eruption in Costa Rica
  -Costa Rica has issued an emergency alert following the largest eruption in 150 years at Turrialba volcano.

  -This is believed to be the biggest explosion recorded at Turrialba in at least 100 years.

  -At 23:00 UTC, Tropical Cyclone Nilofar was located approximately 281 nm south-southwest of Karachi, Pakistan.
  -Cyclone has brought rains in Muscat, Oman.
• Tropical Storm Vance
  -At 21:00 UTC, Tropical Storm Vance was located 665 km S of Acapulco, Mexico.
  -Vance is the 20th named storm of the season.
