11 fishermen missing as trawler sinks in Bangladesh

Sea storm in the Bay of Bengal has drowned a fishing trawler and left at least 11 fishermen missing, Bangladesh News 24 reported.

The tragedy occurred when the trawler 'FB Maa-2' drowned 200 km south off the Char Fashion Upazila coast, Bhola on Sunday night.


Seven people have been rescued and are having treatment at Doulatkhan Upazila Health Complex. Eleven fishermen are still missing.
