A mystery earth tremor shook Ocean City, Maryland on Thursday morning.
Tremors have been reported across Ocean City and the lower Delmarva Peninsula.
However, no earthquakes in Ocean City, Maryland have been recorded by the U.S. Geological Survey even. According to the Maryland Geological Survey, the last earthquake in Ocean City occurred in 1928.
The Maryland Emergency Management Agency expects it to be a sonic boom caused by the Navy test flights. Some seismologist even claimed it to be frost quake caused when frozen soil, rocks or water violently crack.
