M 4.7 moderate earthquake shakes Malaysia today, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.
According
to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake's epicenter was located 23 km NNW of Ranau. It was 10.8 miles
deep.
Tremors have been reported from Kota Marudu, Ranau, Kota Belud and surrounding areas. The populated areas Kota Kinabalu lies 60 km far from the epicenter.
No immediate damage or injuries have been reported from earthquake in Malaysia today.
