M 7.2 extremely dangerous earthquake in Bohol, Philippines has claimed lives of at least 171 people and injured more than 300 people.
The Bohol earthquake 2013 which occurred on October 15, 2013 at 00:12 (UTC) had its epicenter located just 5 km E of Balilihan, Philippines. It was 35.3 miles deep.
According to recent official reports by the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC), 171 have been reported dead, 20 missing, and 375 people have been injured from 2013 Bohol earthquake. Fatalities are from Bohol, Cebu and Siquijor. The town of Loon, Bohol, has the largest number of casualties.
It is the deadliest earthquake in the Philippines in 23 years releasing the energy equivalent to 32 Hiroshima bombs, Philippine Daily Inquirer reported.

-one person confirmed dead and three people injured from the quake.
Landslides have been reported in Cebu (Aloguinsan, Argao, Boljoon) and Bohol (Alicia, Atequero, Balilihan, Bilar, Carmen, Clarin, Corella, Cortes, Danao, Dimiao, Lila, Loboc, Loon).
Cause of Bohol earthquake 2013
According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS), the 7.2 earthquake may have been caused by a new or previously undiscovered fault line transecting Bohol running ENE-WSW parallel to the island's northwest coast.
About 1,581 aftershocks have been recorded since the main quake, NDRRMC said in its bulletin issued at 6:00 a.m. on October 18, 2013. Bohol Island is one of the seismically active areas in the country.
All operations of seaports in Bohol and Cebu are back to normal now.
