5 dead in Chaffee County landslide

Landslide in Chaffee County, Colorado has claimed lives of at least five people and injured a 13-year-old girl, Denver Post reported.

Injured girl has been airlifted to Children's Hospital Colorado in Aurora with a broken leg.

Landslide occurred on a hiking trail to Agnes Vaille in Pike and San Isabel National Forest located some 2½-hour drive south of Denver.

According to the Chaffee County Sheriff's Office, landslide occurred at around 11:00 a.m.

Mudslide and flash flooding in Colorado Springs killed one and injured three others in August 2013.
