Typhoon Wutip leaves 74 missing in China, Thailand, Vietnam prepare flooding

At least seventy-four fishermen have been missing after typhoon Wutip sunk three fishing boats in the South China Sea.

Rescuers however rescued 14 other fisherman from the boats which were sailing from the southern province of Guangdong, Xinhua reported.

At least 10 ships and six planes have been involved in rescue operations.

More than 8,000 villagers in Quang Tri province of Vietnam have been moved to safe ground.

Typhoon Wutip is said to be the most powerful to hit Vietnam this season.
