Mudslide in southern Russia kills 7: Emergency Situations Department

Mudslide in southern Russia has claimed lives of at least seven people, Emergency Situations Department said today.

Heavy rainfall triggered mudslide in Derbent, a city in the North Caucasus republic of Dagestan.

Around 300 houses have been flooded in the region.

At least two relief camps have been set up for the flood victims, Interfax news agency said.
