Romania earthquake today shakes Bucharest

M 4.0 light earthquake hits Romania near Bulgarian Border today, the European Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC) reported.

According to the EMSC, the quake's epicenter was located 56 km south of Romania's capital Bucharest and 261 km northeast of the Bulgarian capital Sofia. It was 8 km deep.

Tremors were felt by the people of Ruse, Stăneşti, Giurgiu and Bucharest.

No damage or injuries have been reported from Romania earthquake today.
