Nigeria Flood News: Kano flooding destroys 408 homes

Flooding in Kano, Nigeria have destroyed about 408 homes, State Emergency Relief and Rehabilitation Agency said today.

Seven members of a single family were rescued Sunday. Floods have also blocked several roads in Kano.

The 2012 Nigeria floods had claimed lives of 363 people.
