An emergency situation has been declared after severe flooding in Ireland's Letterkenny General Hospital.
Emergency was followed after a tributary of the River Swilley overflowed and caused flooding around 17:00 BST Friday.
Seventy bed emergency unit has been opened for the evacuated people and crisis management team has been activated, RTE News reported.
Heavy rains have even caused flash flooding in parts of Dublin, Wicklow and Westmeath.
Dublin Fire Brigade had received around 100 calls through the night but most with minor flood damage and some cases of basement flooding too.
