North Korea flood claims 2, about 760 homeless

Flooding in North Korea has claimed lives of two people and made 760 people homeless, Korean authorities said today.

According to the Korean Central News Agency, flood damage occurred in the central DPRK.

North Korea flood has damaged more than 150 houses and 1,720 hectares of farmland mainly in South Hamkyong, North Hwanghae and Kangwon area.

Heavy rainfall caused flooding in North Korea. More than 200 millimeters of rains have been recorded in dozens of North Korean towns.

Similarly flood in South Korea has also damaged houses and delayed several flights.

2012 North Korea flood claimed lives of at least 88 people.

  1. in the link you provided, the video says 2012....? published today but in the video itself it says 2012 on the news scroller...
