Floods and landslide in Gorontalo, Indonesia have claimed lives of at least four people and left three others missing, the National Disaster Mitigation Agency (BNPB) said.

Heavy rainfall caused the Tongo River to overflow its banks and hit the Bone Pantai and Bulawa area.
Road linking to Ombulo Hijau village, in Bone Pantai has been washed away. A state of emergency has been declared for the next seven days, the Jakarta Globe reported.
