Basement flooding, sinkholes in Mount Holly, Pennsylvania

Torrential rains have caused basement flooding and sinkholes in Mount Holly, Pennsylvania.

Flood damage has been reported in at least two houses in Mount Holly.

Cherry Street was shut down after several sinkholes along the Street. Four other homes along the street experienced basement flooding and sinkholes.

According to the National Weather Service, storm has dumped more than six inches of rains in just one and half hours.

People in Mount Holly, Pennsylvania are now busy in flooded basement repair and flood cleanup.

No injury has been reported.

Basement flooding can occur during big rains, snow melts or even during dry weather.
