North Dakota flooding 2013 forces evacuation of 1,300

Heavy rainfall has caused flooding in North Dakota forcing evacuations of 1,300 people, ND based Bismarck Tribune reported.

North Dakota flooding has also closed state Highway 18 at Neche and near Cavalier, the state Transportation Department said.

A flood evacuation shelter has been set up in Cavalier.

North Dakota experienced significant flooding in 2009.
