According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the epicenter of earthquake in Idaho today was located 28 km W of Soda Springs and 49 km SE of Pocatello, Idaho. It was 7.0 miles deep.
Following USGS Pager Map, weak shaking of MMI II-III will have felt by the people of Soda Springs, Chubbuck, Bancroft, Downey, Grace, Lava Hot Springs, McCammon, Clarkston, Preston, Pocatello, Fort Hall, Paris, Blackfoot, Idaho Falls, Ammon, Logan and Brigham City.

ReplyDeleteI live in Emmett Idaho and I felt it between 1030 ish and 11, I didn't know what to think, it was light but it sure shook my bunk bed two times, scary feeling. My first thought was black canyon dam is going to break.
