Ice storm in Manitoba, Canada damages houses

Extensive ice storm at Ochre Beach on Dauphin Lake in Manitoba, Canada has damaged at least 20 houses.

A state of emergency has been declared in the Rural Municipality of Ochre River, Canada based CTV reports.

Emergency Medical Services and the local fire department are helping in rescue works currently.

Great Canadian ice storm in 1998 claimed 28 lives.
