Algeria earthquake injures 4

Moderate earthquake in Algeria's Bejaia region has injured at least four people, Xinhua reported.

USGS has recorded magnitude 4.9 shallow earthquake in Algeria with epicenter located 17 km E of Bejaia. It was 7.9 miles deep.

According to the Astronomy, Astrophysics and Geophysics Research Center, the earthquake in Algeria today had the epicenter in the sea.

Tremor caused cracks in walls in Bejaia and nearby Aokas area. Earthquake also caused panic in Setif, Bordj Bou Arreridj and Tizi Ouzou.
