  Typhoon caused heavy rain and flash floods in Taipei City, New Taipei City, Taoyuan County and Yilan County.

August 2012

• August 20: Typhoon Tembin Trajectory
  Tembin located 250 km east of Taitung County in eastern Taiwan.
• August 1: Typhoon Saola in Taiwan
  About 40 people evacuated due to heavy rainfall and flooding from eastern parts of Taiwan caused by Typhoon Saola.

June 2012

   Typhoon Guchol is expected to show its effect in Philippines, Japan (Okinawa) and Taiwan.
• June 12: Flash Floods in Taiwan
  At least six people reported to be killed in flooding in southern and central Taiwan.
