-Thunderstorm and tornado in Odisha, India injured 12 people.
-Tornado destroyed more than 200 houses in Aul and Rajkanika areas of Kendrapara district of Odisha.

-A wildfire outside the Great Smoky Mountains National Park in eastern Tennessee has burned more than 30 large rental cabins.
-Wildfire near the resort town of Pigeon Forge has burned 230 acres.
-About 150 evacuated people are having shelter at the Pigeon Forge Community Center provided by American Red Cross.
-A state of emergency has been declared for Pigeon Forge wildfire.
