A state of natural catastrophe has been declared for the recent flooding in southwestern France.

Recent flooding in France has killed least one person and destroyed hundreds of homes. Government has declared state of natural catastrophe.

Agly River burst its bank and caused flooding in Perpignan, France. Flood displaced around 700 people.

Flooding in France in 1959 killed 421 people.
