• Flooding in New South Wales, Australia
  -Flooding in New South Wales, Australia has killed two people.
  -Evacuation order has been issued for the people of Kempsey as the Macleay River rose above normal. Kempsey's central business district is expected to be flooded tonight (Saturday).
  -Evacuation order has also been issued for low-lying parts of Port Macquarie including around Grafton and Bellingen, as well as parts of Lismore.

• M 5.9 strong harmless aftershocks in Santa Cruz Islands (@ 11 km depth) with epicenter located 61 km W of Lata. It will have faintly felt by the people of Luganville and Honiara.

• M 4.3 light shallow earthquake Offshore Baja California, Mexico  (@ 33 km depth) with epicenter located 62 km WSW from Rosarito. It will have well felt by the people of Chula Vista, Coronado, Rosarito, Imperial Beach, Bonita, National City, San Diego, El Cajon, Tijuana, Encinitas, Ensenada, San Diego, San Marcos, Poway, La Jolla, Escondido, El Cajon, Carlsbad and La Mesa.

  -Cyclone Haruna killed one in Madagascar yesterday.
• A cyclone watch has been issued for the people between Cape Leveque to Dampier in the Kimberley and Pilbara regions of Australia.

  -Landslide in Mt. Diwalwal in Monkayo, Compostela Valley, Philippines has killed one people.
  -The rain-triggered avalanche also injured six others.
• Avalanche in Revelstoke Mountain Resort, Canada
  -Avalanche disaster in Revelstoke Mountain Resort in southeastern British Columbia has killed one and injured three others.
  -The Canadian Avalanche Center  has upgraded the avalanche risk to "high" for most of British Columbia.
• Firefighters are currently  battling a forest fire in Dome Valley, 10 kilometres north of Warkworth, Matakana, New Zealand.
