- Mudslide in Colombia
-Three killed and 10 others reported to be missing in Colombia mudslide. Mudslide occurred in Villas del Prado village and Remolinos in the municipality of Isnos (southern Huila).
-At least 20 houses were destroyed by flooding. Heavy rainfall caused overflowing of the La Chorrera stream.
-Fire and Civil Defence team is working in rescue operation. Experts with dogs from Bogota are even searching the missing persons.
-Caracol Radio said as many as 27 villagers are missing in the tragedy (Photo source: diariodelhuila.com).

11:42 UTC (local time Sunday, October 07, 2012 at 04:42 PM @ epicenter) - M 4.5 moderate earthquake Off the Coast of El Salvador (@ 35 km depth) with epicenter located 123 km SW of Puerto El Triunfo. Just a weak shaking of MMI II-III will have felt by the people of La Libertad, Zacatecoluca and Usulutan.
09:16 UTC (local time Sunday, October 07, 2012 at 03:16 AM @ epicenter) - M 5.6 moderate earthquake in Luzon, Philippines (@ 33 km depth) with epicenter located just 5 km W of Santa Praxedes. Light shaking of MMI IV will have felt by the people of Claveria, Pagudpud, Bangui, Namuac, Santa Cruz, Davila, Laoag and Kabugao. People of Tuguegarao City, Tabuk and Santiago will have felt weak shaking of MMI III.

- Flash floods in Kogi, Nigeria
-About 6,654 flood victims evacuated from Ibaji area of Kogi State, Nigeria.
-National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA), local boats and canoes are used for the evacuation. Rescued people are taking shelter in the nearby Idah local government area.

-Eruption sound was heard 5 kilometers away from the disaster area but height of the eruption was not visible due to cloud-covered crater.

-As of 15:00 UTC, TS Olivia was located 1495 km SW of the southern tip of Baja California.
-Olivia is moving toward the northwest near 6 mph. No threat to land.
-Olivia is forecast to become a hurricane sometime during the next day or two.
