Update
Felt reports as received by Disaster-Report.Com through felt report form, More felt reports below

Shanita Johnson from Coppell, TX:
"My family and I were watching the Alabama vs. Ole Miss game and felt the house move a little. We didn't know what it was. We have just relocated to this area from Killeen TX, and my mother from Alabama and no one has ever felt an earthquake before. It was very scary to even think of the ground shaking so hard you could feel the house move. It just felt like my foundation moved a little.
Hope this is doesn't happen all the time. Escape tornado's and hurricanes just to come to earthquakes wasn't my plan."

Sharice Williams from Irving:
"The cat woke me up then I heard a loud noise and felt the house move and shake, the ceiling fan was swinging and the bed shook. A vase was moved off a window sill by the shaking and shattered. There is a crack in the ceiling and some of the pictures on the walls are crooked but none fell. It certainly got my attention."

Kikki & Carl from corner of Esters & Conflans:
"We heard a boom and the house shook...Carl ran out front to see if there had been a car crash into a light poll, I ran out back to see if our electrical transformer had blown up. I also thought maybe a tree had fallen on our house.
He called the police, who reported it had been an earthquake. I checked the internet, and found this info page. Scary!!!
Hope there's no structural damage."

Debby Holt from Grapevine TX:
"Sitting on my couch watching TV and felt it shake like someone bumped into it. Asked my friend in the chair if she felt anything. She said no. Couple of minutes later I felt another shake for about a second. The dog and the friend felt that one and I was off the couch. Scared. Didn't know what was happening. Not used to earthquakes in my town."

Felt Reports
Chevelle F from Irving: The shaking was very sharp and quick and very unsettling. Within a couple of minutes felt another set not quite as strong as the first one. We live in Las Colinas of Irving.
Sue Heffernan from North euless, Texas: Strong vibration of house followed by a less severe one.
David salomon from Texas: Sitting here at my place near george bush and preston road and at first it seemed as if someone had run a car into my building. Felt like a jolt and then a slight tremor for a second or two after.
Debby Holt from Grapevine TX: Sitting on my couch watching TV and felt it shake like someone bumped into it. Asked my friend in the chair if she felt anything. She said no. Couple of minutes later I felt another shake for about a second. The dog and the friend felt that one and I was off the couch. Scared. Didn't know what was happening. Not used to earthquakes in my town.
Mecia from Euless, TX: I felt a light shaking, but enough to know that it was an earthquake or the aftermath of one nearby. Scary.
Shanita Johnson from Coppell, TX: My family and I were watching the Alabama vs.
Escape tornado's and hurricanes just to come to earthquakes wasn't my plan.
Sylvia Perez from Irving: Sitting in bed realize felt house shake for quick second didnt realize was earthquake..
Vicki from Coppell: Felt my floor vibrate and felt the house jolt slightly - by the way I live in a mobile home in Coppell.
Rae from Texas: I was sitting at the end of my bed playing a video game and my bed started shaking (like someone belly flopped on it or something) and my lap top started rocking back and forth at the corner of the mattress. I had no idea it was a minor earthquake and thought I was going crazy or something. Lol.
Katherine from Dallas: I was sitting on my couch in far north Dallas. My couch started to vibrate, enough to make me sit up and look around. I decided to ignore it until my best friend in Denton called all freaked out. Crazy!
Kaci from Irving: Omg I didn't know what was going on.. It felt like an explosion under neath me then the entire bldg shook violently.. I started crying n called my family...
Cherie Carmichael from danish dr 75050: Floor bounced like a trampolene. I was in kitchen and built in island table and cabinets bounced. My son was in his room in a chair at his desk and was bounced..his whole room bounced. We heard a rumble. We have a basement so I dont know if that helped to cushion. approx 11:05 p.m.
Grant Stinchfield from Irving, TX oconner and northgate: First i thought my wife was throwing 25lbs medicine balls against the wall. Then i thought a moving van backed into our house. That, in about 5 seconds of serious shakes.
R Srinivas from Flower Mound, Texas: I woke up as the bed shook violently. I sat up thinking one of the kids had jumped up on bed as they usually do. But there was no one in the room. Then my husband rushed in saying he felt the couch move. We half thought there had been an explosion of some kind. Only when I went to Twitter that I realized it had been an earthquake.
Surprisingly we didn't hear the windows rattle or anything. Just a huge shaking of the ground, followed by a minute or two later by mild trembling of the ground.
Lori Jackson from Irving: My husband and I were watching football and cleaning our third floor apartment and we felt two major shakes. The second one was delayed and a little more noticeable. We had no idea what it was, and right as it happened, my friend who lives across town in Coppell texted me and asked me if I felt our apartment shake as well. Creepy!!
Sabrina Moraski from FarmersBranch, TX: My husband felt the bed shake and I felt my desk slightly shake it was a weird feeling.
Las Colinas - Irving: In Las Colinas the very loud rumble was surreal. It felt like something was going to emerge from the underground! It shook items off shelfs and had my neighbors going outside to see what was going on. I also felt the small after shock at 11:07pm.
Can Rudolph from Coppell: Oh my gosh, the house shook, the couch moved while my mother was sitting down watching TV. I was standing in the living room and felt the trimmer and the kitchen light fixture swung back and forth. I thought what the heck is going on.... Thought my parents house was possessed.
Sharice Williams from Wentwood and Grauwyler, Irving: The cat woke me up then I heard a loud noise and felt the house move and shake, the ceiling fan was swinging and the bed shook. A vase was moved off a window sill by the shaking and shattered. There is a crack in the ceiling and some of the pictures on the walls are crooked but none fell. It certainly got my attention.
Roberta G. from Coppell: The first feeling was like a jolt then it turned in a strong shaking. I felt the jolt in the wall behind my bed and then felt the bed shaking. I have experienced earthquakes in California and it felt very similar. At first I dismissed it thinking that it must have come from thunder nearby.... but knew that it could not be possible.
Weird feeling to try to reconcile what you know it felt like and associating it with it's location. After all we do not live in California.
James Hawkins from Lewisville: 2 story home, entire house shook for a moment. However, it was strong enough for everyone to notice due to the sound and movement of the home. I even went outside to see if something crashed near the home.
Sherlyn Biberdorf from Euless: I was sitting on the couch, and home both face east. I heard a loud boom sound, the the house shook from the front to the back. It seemed more forceful than before. Lasted a few seconds. Our birds freaked out and was holding on to the side of the cage for several minutes afterwards. Several people on our block had gone outside to check for a car wreck or something. I knew immediatly what it was but checked outside anyway.

  13. We are at the La Quinta on 183 and Esters, Irving, and on the 4th floor. Heard a low boom then felt the building sway and jerk back and forth a couple of times. We were watching a movie lying in bed and it felt as if bed was on rollers and someone had jerked it sideways several times. Thought a plane had crashed (by the airport) or something hit the building. Being on upper floor, felt it very well, it woke up others and everyone was coming out of rooms asking what happened. Felt the smaller one a short time after, not as much though.
