  1. I'm an Englishman living in Palermo. We all felt this one this morning. My girlfriend and I were woken up when the bed was shaking back and forth, we both immediately woke up in fear, looked at each other with wide open eyes and said " earthquake ", we jumped out of bed in a flash, it certainly put a literal spring in our step to start the day.

  2. I'm an Irishman in Isola Delle Femmine - same thing for me this morning, I thought the bloody roof had blown off the flat! The only casualty was the poor clock. Scary stuff!

  3. I'm from Palermo and i felt it really well. My computer was about to fall from my desk (and it's a huge computer!) Several objects fell on me and on my roommate off the shelves upon our beds (different bedrooms). I jumped out of bed too quickly and tried to scream "TERREMOTO!" (earthquake) to alert my mother and my roommate, but barely a whisper came out of my mouth for i was terrified and i almost fainted while trying to reach their bedrooms. I sit on the floor in between a door and waited. 2 more shakes happened after that, one was M 2.4, the second was M 3.1, both were scary ass well, but less strong. I fear there could be more.
