M 4.2 Moderate shallow earthquake recorded In Baja California, Mexico (@ 20 km depth) with epicenter located 27 km SW from Guadalupe Victoria. Light shaking of MMI IV will have felt above epicenter. Weak shaking is reported to be felt as far as San Diego, California. No damage or injuries reported at this time.
Guadalupe Victoria, also known as the 43, is a small city in the state of Baja California in northern Mexico. It is located in the municipality of Mexicali and serves as a borough seat of its surrounding area.
It is the same area of M 7.2, 2010 Baja California earthquake (also known as 2010 Easter earthquake, 2010 Sierra El Mayor earthquake, or 2010 El Mayor - Cucapah earthquake). The epicenter was located 26 kilometers south of Guadalupe Victoria, Baja California, Mexico
