Today November 21, 2011 strong earthquake of Magnitude 5.9 rattle Myanmar. However, shaking is felt in vast area. It is felt as far as India and Bangladesh. The epicenter of This earthquake is located 92 km SE Phek (pop 15,118) and 117 km E Imphal (pop 223,523).
About 114,000 people have experienced a moderate shaking of MMI V which indicates it be felt in vast area. Well felt in Thoubal, Phek, Wangjing, Imphal, Kakching, Mayang,Imphal Kohima, Wokha and Dimapur region.
