Is Wright flood insurance through FEMA?

Q: Is Wright flood insurance through FEMA?

A: Wright Flood insurance policies are administered by the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) through FEMA.

In partnership with FEMA, Wright Flood provides federal flood policies to protect homes, businesses, and their contents from flood disasters and has grown into the largest flood insurance company across the country.

Wright Flood sells federal flood insurance through more than 17,000 independent agencies across the US. Wright Flood insurance policies are backed wholly by the US Government, and subject to congressional legislation, administered by the NFIP through FEMA, a division of US Homeland Security.

One should note that FEMA is the biggest but not the only provider of flood insurance.
