Magnitude 3.3 earthquake in Chatsworth, CA today

May 3, 2020: Magnitude 3.3 earthquake has been recorded in Chatsworth, California today at 10:19 UTC, the United States Geological Survey (USGS) reported.

According to the USGS,  the earthquake's epicenter was located just 1 km NW of Chatsworth and 12 km far from Simi Valley,CA.

The earthquake occurred at 7 km depth.

USGS received earthquake felt reports from Chatsworth, Northridge, Porter Ranch, Reseda, Canoga Park, Winnetka, Simi Valley, Granada Hills, Sherman Oaks, Sylmar, Woodland Hills, Va Nuys and as far as Los Angeles, CA.

No preliminary damage or injuries have been reported.
