Earthquake Townsville 2020: M4.8 undersea earthquake off Bowen

April 15, 2020: An undersea earthquake of magnitude 4.8 off Bowen, Queensland coast has been recorded today at 5:11 pm, GeoScience Australia confirmed.

The earthquake occurred at 10 km depth.

Tremor was felt y the people from Townsville to Mackay.

There is no threat of tsunami.
