December 8, 2020: Magnitude 2.8 weak earthquake has been recorded today in Gilroy, CA at local  01:46 am local time.

According to the United States Geological Survey (USGS), the earthquake occurred 5 km far from Gilroy, California. The earthquake occurred at 5.5 km depth.

The tremor was felt in Gilroy, Aromas, Watsonville and Morgan Hill, California.
