Magnitude 4.3 earth tremor in Durban today

October 31, 2019: Magnitude 4.3 earthquake tremor has been felt in Durban today.

According to the United States Geological Survey (USGS), the earthquake occurred at 10 km depth with epicenter located 44 km NW of Port Shepstone, South Africa.

The earthquake tremor was well felt by the people of Port Shepstone, Margate, Kokstad, Scottsburgh, Umkomaas, Epumalanga, Pietermaritzburg and Durban KwaZulu Natal, South Africa
