Flooding in North India kills 28 and leaves 22 missing

August 19, 2019: Flooding caused by heavy rainfall in North India killed at least 28 people and left 22 missing in Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Punjab. 

Landslides cut off several parts of the state disrupting train services between Kalka and Shimla and traffic on the Chandigarh-Manali highway, NDTV reported.
