Magnitude 5.7 earthquake in Western Turkey injures 3

March 20, 2019: Magnitude 5.7 earthquake has been recorded in Denizli, Western Turkey at 06:34 am, Kandilli Observatory and Earthquake Research Institute (KOERI) reported.

The earthquake occurred at a shallow depth of 5 km.

The earthquake was centered in the town of Acipayam, in Denizli province, The government-run Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency said. 

Three people have been injured by falling bricks or after jumping from balconies.
