Two light earthquakes recorded in Nepal in last 24 hrs

February 26, 2019: Nepal Seismological Center has recorded two light earthquakes in last 24 hours in Sindhupalchowk and Dolakha district of Nepal.

Magnitude 4.4 earthquake was recorded in Dolakha district at 04:15 pm Tuesday. The epicenter was located near Bhimeshwor Municipality. Five minutes later, magnitude 4.1 earthquake was recorded in Sindhupalchowk district. The epicenter was located near Marming.

No damage or injuries have been recorded from these earthquakes.

Two weeks earlier, Nepal Seismological Center had recorded magnitude 4.0 earthquake with epicenter in Kirtipur.
