November 17, 2017: The worst natural disaster that hit the Greek capital Athens in decades has claimed lives of at least 16 people.
Nearly all of the fatalities occurred in Mandra, and authorities said about 500 homes and businesses were damaged, The Weather Channel reported.
The government has declared a day of national mourning.
