Flash flood in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) province of Pakistan has claimed lives of at least 43 people including eight security personnel on Sunday.
More than 40 people have been injured and scores of others have been missing, Xinhua News Agency reported quoting the local media and officials.
According to the provincial National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), around 35 houses have been fully damaged and 47 others bear partial house.
An army helicopter made five trips from Chitral to Ursoon to evacuate the injured people.
