Tornado hits Stephenville, Texas for first time in 20 years

A tornado lashed Stephenville city of Texas for the first time in more than 20 years Tuesday morning causing damage to dozen of buildings.

According to the National Weather Service, an EF-1 tornado struck Stephenville, with winds between 86 and 110 miles per hour.

The storm damaged some structures at Tarleton State University and damaged roofs of the Lillian One Apartments.

No one was injured in Stephenville.

At least three tornadoes have been confirmed in Cool, Tolar and Stephenville area of Texas injuring four people and damaging several buildings.
