Torrential rainfall in Balochistan province of Pakistan has claimed lives of at least nine people including four children this week.
"Nine persons including four children and a woman died in Balochistan province that borders Iran and Afghanistan," AFP has written quoting Zahid Saleem, chief of the province's disaster management authority.
Four children and a woman died after a roof caved in due to heavy rains in Sheerani district. Three people died in Mastung and Loralai districts. One person died due to lightning strike in Dalbandin district.
Meteorological office has forecast more rain across the Balochistan province over the weekend.
