3.9 magnitude earthquake felt around Dead Sea, Israel

A 3.9 magnitude earthquake rattled the Dead Sea region around 02:35 pm local time, The Geophysical Institute Of Israel (GII) reported.

According to GII, the earthquake occurred in Arava region near Jordan border at 17 km depth.

Weak tremor was felt in the surrounding areas. However no damage or injuries have been reported.
