Flash flood along the Red Sea coast in Saudi Arabia has claimed lives of at least twelve people.
Six children died in the provinces of Yanbu, Ha'il and on the outskirts of the coastal city of Jiddah, Khaleej Times reported.
Heavy rainfall affected western, northern and central parts of Saudi Arabia, including the cities of Mecca, Medina, Hail and Arar.
People are advised to stay indoors as heavy rains pounded areas along the Kingdom's Red Sea coastline, Aljazeera reported quoting the country's emergency response crews.
Schools and universities have suspended classes in both Jeddah and Mecca.
